Job Description/Overview:
This is an opportunity which has plenty of variety, with no two days being the same. Being a key member in one of the maintenance crews,
This is a busy role which will require you to work in crews operating all over Auckland highways and roads. The yard is based in Mt Wellington and will be the place you start and finish your day. Additionally, there is a West Auckland yard, and there is the potential to start your day there. A standard workday is 6.30am to 3:00pm, or nightshift is available, 6:00pm to 5:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Soft landscaping (pruning, hedging)
- Class 2 truck driving
- Mowing (using John Deere mowers or tractors)
- Weed eating
- Spraying
- Litter collection
- General maintenance duties like guard rail repairs, pothole repairs
Qualifications needed
- Class 1 restricted minimum
- Class 2 full desired
- Experience weed eating, spraying, litter collection or traffic control advantageous
- Physically fit and able to work in the outdoors, rain hail or shine
Experience:
Attitude is key for this client – no experience is necessarily required if you have a positive mindset and a good attitude. However, the following experience and requirements are desirable:
