Job Description
They are looking for someone early in their Transport Career, loves the industry and is ready to take the next step. You’ll join a small but dynamic team, bringing natural leadership qualities and a hands-on approach to operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, flexible, with strong troubleshooting abilities. Advanced forklift skills and familiar with Warehouse Management Systems is essential. They’re seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, highly organised, and possess strong communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Advanced forklift operator for handling bulk cargo
- Ability to maintain strong customer relations
- Resolve issues or delays to maintain service levels and customer satisfaction
- Solid working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Working knowledge of workplace Health & Safety Standards
- Previous experience leading a small team
Qualifications
- Current OSH Forklift with experience ideally operating up to 5 tonne machines
- Full Class 1 License with F Endorsement (Full Class 2 is desirable)
- Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems
- Certified AP and or other industry accreditations desirable
- Team leadership with the ability to foster a positive work environment and lead by example
