Job Description/Overview
Kitestring is a rapidly growing company based in Northwest Arkansas. As a Quality Engineer, you will partner with product and engineering teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for various features and projects. Your role involves performing detailed manual testing, documenting test cases for automation, and building automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and availability of our software.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop comprehensive testing plans in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
– Execute manual testing scenarios and communicate findings.
– Document test cases for automation.
– Build automated testing solutions.
– Support product and engineering teams throughout all testing use cases.
Qualifications needed
– Strong ability to write high-quality tests and necessary scripting/code.
– Deep understanding of business needs and engineering stacks.
– Proficiency in reviewing test plans and writing detailed test documents.
– Excellent communication skills for conveying test findings.
Experience
– Familiarity with Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman, RestAssured, API testing, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos, JMeter, Appium, JIRA, and CI/CD processes.
Skills
– High-quality test writing and scripting.
– Business understanding and collaboration with engineering teams.
