Job Description/Overview:
Brightwheel is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a team of outbound Account Executives in a high-velocity sales environment. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the team to build pipelines through outbound cold calling and closing their own deals. The ideal candidate is a coach and mentor who thrives on enabling others to succeed. They will create a high-performing team culture, manage pipelines, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools. The role requires a dynamic individual who can excel in a fast-paced, constantly changing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Achieve ambitious sales goals through effective team management.
– Motivate Account Executives to build and manage pipelines via outbound cold calling and closing deals.
– Hire, train, set clear expectations, and coach the team to drive performance and achieve results.
– Contribute to the improvement of sales processes and tools, including scripts and emails.
– Foster a high-energy team culture focused on delivering customer value, continuous improvement, and achieving results.
– Have a direct impact on transforming early education for teachers, parents, and children.
Qualifications needed:
– 2+ years of experience as an Inside Sales Rep and/or Account Executive, including phone-based cold calling and deal closing.
– 2+ years of experience as a people manager in sales, with a demonstrated ability to drive pipeline management, forecasting, and performance improvement.
– Experience in high-velocity sales, SaaS, and startups is preferred.
– Proficiency with CRMs and customer engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Gong).
– Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
