Job Description/Overview:
Kueski, a leading buy now, pay later (BNPL) and online consumer credit platform in Latin America, is looking for an SEO Specialist to develop and optimize its search engine positioning. The role involves designing and executing strategies to enhance organic traffic channels, positioning the Kueski brand in search engines, and collaborating with the Development and Product teams to implement site improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
– Positioning the Kueski brand in search engines for informational, branded, and transactional keywords.
– Designing and executing strategies to boost the presence of the organic channel in the channel mix.
– Enhancing SEO in content creation and content scheduling.
– Developing content marketing strategies for Kueski’s blog across different stages of the funnel (ToFu, MoFu, and BoFu).
– Monitoring and analyzing SEO statistics, such as redirects, click-through rates, and bounce rates.
– Collaborating with different acquisition channels to create joint strategies that positively impact the company’s visibility in search engines.
– Implementing SEO strategies and ensuring new web projects comply with on-site and off-site guidelines.
Qualifications needed:
– Over 3 years of experience in On-page and Off-page SEO, including keyword research, internal linking, and technical SEO practices.
– Knowledge of Web Performance Optimization (WPO), load time improvement, and other related areas.
– Experience in developing content strategies and link-building.
– Strong understanding of how web architecture impacts SEO.
– Extensive experience in handling and configuring SEO in WordPress.
– Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Google Search Console.
– Intermediate English proficiency.
– Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and consumer behavior in Mexico (Preferred).
– Certifications in SEO and Google Analytics (Preferred).
