Job Description/Overview:
Impact Academy is seeking an Operations Manager to take ownership of core operations, ensuring high productivity and efficiency across the organization. You will manage strategy, finance, HR, internal processes, legal compliance, and program support. As the organization scales, you will likely build and lead a team of high-performing generalist operations staff.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and oversee an effective operations strategy
– Manage and maintain finance and accounting functions
– Oversee HR and recruitment, including hiring, performance evaluations, and development
– Handle emergent operations challenges in a growing start-up environment
– Develop and coordinate internal processes and ensure legal compliance
– Support the operations of individual programs
Qualifications needed:
– Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years in operations or adjacent roles (required)
Skills:
– Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
– Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment
– High attention to detail and reliability
– Passionate about reducing catastrophic risks from AI and contributing to a better future
