Job Description/Overview:
In this capacity, the Management Accountant will report to the Chief Financial Officer, providing comprehensive assistance in all matters pertaining to accounts. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for month end accounts, monthly reporting, managing GST and FBT returns, collaborating closely with the CFO and General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing monthly reporting for the General Manager
- PAYE management and compliance
- Reconciliations
- Completing GST and FBT tax returns
- Reviewing weekly payroll batches
- Offering support in accounts payable and receivable processes
Qualifications needed
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable cost accounting or management accounting role
- Experience with MYOB EXO and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact with both internal and external customers
