Job Description/Overview:
As a Senior Product Designer at OpenPhone, you’ll lead design projects across desktop and mobile platforms, create prototypes, and ensure high-quality product experiences. You’ll work closely with Product, Research, and Engineering teams to deliver elegant solutions and improve the design system.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead design projects from ideation to implementation
– Prototype and test concepts to validate hypotheses
– Maintain pixel-perfect details in design
– Collaborate with teams to create valuable product experiences
– Communicate designs and user flows to Engineering
– Improve the design system and component libraries
– Take initiative on design improvements and quick shipping
Qualifications needed:
– 5+ years of professional product design experience
– Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, user experience, and visual design
– Proficiency in Figma, including Dev Mode
– Strong opinions on product aesthetics, UX patterns, and principles
– Ability to simplify and enhance customer experience
– Passionate with a keen attention to detail
– Knowledge of current design trends and best practices
– Excellent communication and remote work skills
Nice To Have:
– Motion design skills
– UX copywriting experience
