Job Description/Overview:
Exciting new times ahead! Our stunning new Care Home based in the heart of Kerikeri is opening mid-September 2024. With an already established resort style village with spectacular subtropical gardens, come and join our team and live and work in the relaxed town of Kerikeri. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to provide top-quality care to our residents and to make our residents feel safe, honoured and comfortable.
You will be a part of the awesome clinical team supporting our residents. There will be a range of shifts available, and you will be working in a brand new 65 bed state of the art Care Home, with all the amenities provided to deliver outstanding care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical assessment, planning and implementing of nursing care.
- Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
- Provide compassionate and high-level care
Qualifications needed
- Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
- Strong nursing experience, aged care – even better!
- InterRai qualification is desirable.
- Up to date knowledge of wound care management
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
- You are a team player with a caring, respectful manner
