Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the daily operations at Filipino grocery store
- In-charge and operate the cash register POS System
- Regularly inspect the stocks, monitor inventory and update the record
- Pay close attention to store inventory, checking the expiry and spoiled items, checking the shelves, display/retail areas, and the cleanliness of the store
- Patient, honest, reliable and trusted worker
- Listen to customer complaint/queries and work together to find the solution if any
- Checking and balance the takings everyday
- Order and maintain grocery items ( dry goods and frozen goods)
- Execute the inventory accuracy and control procedures daily
- Maintain an awareness of inventory /stocking conditions and record any discrepancy
- Records all the delivery goods in an appropriate form and record the temperature of frozen goods
- Coordinate repair and maintenance work with vendors, equipment suppliers and technician
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safe environment for the customers ( this includes sanitising the counter everyday
- Can operate and experience with RIA Money Transfer system
- Monitor and action the pest control maintenance for the shop if needed
- Understand and follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines and procedures
- To work at one year (1) work experience at least 30 hours a week with hourly rate of NZ$31.61.
Qualifications needed
- Must have knowledgeable in managing a grocery store and familiar with an Asian dry and frozen products.
- Willing to work on weekends
- Must pass drug test and criminal check
