Job Description:
Actionable Agency is seeking a Legal Content Editor to review, proofread, and edit content to ensure accuracy and correctness. The ideal candidate should have experience in legal writing, editing, and proofreading, with a strong understanding of editing headlines, legal subject matter, and long-form SEO pillar webpages.
Responsibilities:
– Edit and proofread blogs, webpages, and websites for company clients.
– Fact-check dates and statistics in content to ensure accuracy.
– Provide feedback to writers on their work.
– Communicate with the team regarding future content needs.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Law, English, Communications, or related fields.
– A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in writing or editing, preferably in legal content.
– Knowledge of the Chicago Manual and AP writing styles.
– Impeccable spelling and grammar.
– Strong attention to detail.
