Job Description/Overview:
We are offering an opportunity for an experienced, motivated and highly capable Engineering and Support Services Manager to join our leadership team. This role will look after multiple sites in Bulls, Wanganui and Auckland, with further expansion planned in the Manawatu later this year.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the management and development of plant services and equipment, and you will drive our site-wide continuous improvement culture. Able to operate with focus, energy and initiative, and possessing strong communication skills, you will be a master of all things technical and will be the trusted ‘go-to’ person on-site to solve complex problems. Not only will you ‘talk the talk’ you must be able to ‘walk the walk’. You will have project management experience, be confident managing our maintenance team of 10, and have an innate ability to form strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
Qualifications needed
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager or similar
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Hands on knowledge and experience
- Commitment to safety
- Experience in preventative maintenance, planning and scheduling jobs
- Proven team leadership and project management experience
- Innovative mindset, solution-focused execution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Strong administration skillset
Experience:
- Experience in asset maintenance ERP systems
- Experience in High Risk (RTE) manufacturing or previous experience with food manufacturing equipment
- GMP experience
- Understanding of HSWA
