Job Description/Overview:
As a Commercial Painter, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative finishes to our chicken coops and related products. Your role will involve preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and ensuring that all finishes meet our quality standards. You will work closely with our production team to deliver top-quality finished products that enhance both appearance and durability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces of chicken coops and components for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming.
- Apply paint, stain, and protective coatings to metal, wood, and composite surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Mix paints and coatings to achieve the desired color and consistency.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications needed
- Proven experience as a commercial painter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment, including sprayers, brushes, and rollers.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, and coatings suitable for various materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
