Job Description/Overview:
New Zealand owned our client offers a range of inhouse designs along with local and international home and lifestyle products with a huge commitment to sustainability. With a range of collections to choose from in their beautiful retail store, they also offer specialised interior designer services.
We are seeking a dedicated manager to join them and run their Christchurch CBD Store.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving store sales targets & various KPIs
- Leading and motivating your small team of upto 5 staff
- Merchandising and styling the showroom maintaining high standards
- Overseeing people function – recruitment, training, coaching and performance mgmt
- Growing the Interior Design services as well as creative thinking to establish a bigger client base
- Ensuring you deliver a high level of professionalism and presentation
- Managing all store administration – stock and inventory, stocktake, liaising with suppliers, rosters, reporting and more.
Qualifications needed
- Must have at least 3+ yrs exp in premium retail management including either furniture/homewares or interior design
- An enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and driven personality who can work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Ability to manage a high degree of problem-solving and logical thinking
- Professional, well presented with strong written and verbal communication
- Passionate about premium interiors and the fashion industry keeping upto date with the latest trends
- Must have full NZ Working rights, unfortunately, no sponsorship VISA’s will be supported.
