Key Responsibilities
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests;
- identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies
- Ensure that all company vehicles meet NZTA requirements by testing engine,
- safety, and combustion control standards
Qualifications needed
- 3 Years’ experience as a mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
- Ability to work as part of a team and be supportive to colleagues
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
- Appropriate trade qualification recognised by NZQA
