Job Description/Overview:
Based in Auckland, the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor will provide safety leadership, coaching and support to all end-to-end supply chain teams (i.e. warehouses, transport) and corporate teams. You will support the development and implementation of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing plans needed to mitigate risk in a consistent manner. You will be required to support/lead investigations, supporting the identification and implementation of corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and inspections to improve performance, culture and behaviour
- Lead the wellbeing agenda
- Facilitate Health and Safety Committee meetings
- Conduct risk assessments
- Advise on the selection of controls and corrective actions
Experience & Skills
With strong influencing, motivation and collaboration skills, you will be able to communicate clearly both written and verbally and have experience developing teams. You will be experienced in delivering training to teams and have strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Relevant tertiary Health and Safety qualification or equivalent is essential
- ICAM trained or equivalent incident investigation training is essential
- Experience in transport/logistics operation and/or high-risk manufacturing environments/FMCG
- Lead auditor training (Desired)
- Cert IV in training and assessment (Desired)
- Permit to work issuer (Desired)
